Mercy Connections Welcomes Erin Evarts as Development Director

Evarts joins the organization after leading Lyric Theatre Company as Executive Director for 5 years. “As a Vermont native, my career has been focused in the nonprofit arena because mission-based, community-focused work is my passion,” Evarts said.


BURLINGTON — Mercy Connections welcomes Erin Evarts as its new Director of Development. The Burlington-based nonprofit is an educational and social service organization dedicated to serving adults. Its mission is to transform lives through education, mentoring, entrepreneurship, and community engagement.

Evarts joins the organization after leading Lyric Theatre Company as Executive Director for 5 years. “As a Vermont native, my career has been focused in the nonprofit arena because mission-based, community-focused work is my passion,” Evarts said.

In her role, Evarts ensures the financial resources are in place for the organization to execute its mission. This includes developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet the organization’s revenue goals, overseeing all fundraising initiatives and managing relationships with stakeholders investing in the organization.

Evarts reports to the Executive Director, Lisa Falcone. “Erin’s skills of relationship management, strategy development along with her commitment for our mission makes her an ideal person for this pivotal role. I am thrilled to have her on our team.”
