Mari McClure, President and CEO of Green Mountain Power, will also be honored with the Catherine McAuley Award.
Each year, the Mercy Connections' Board of Directors selects a person who exemplifies community leadership and service in the example of Catherine McAuley, a 19th century leader dedicated to social justice and founder of the Sisters of Mercy.
McClure joined Green Mountain Power in 2010 and stepped into the position as President and CEO in 2020 after a decade of leadership within the organization. She has been featured in Time Magazine and the New York Times , among other accolades, for her groundbreaking work to transform the electric grid to a resilient and sustainable system for all communities across the state of Vermont.
