Power of Connection 2026
Thank you to those that joined us on Tuesday, May 19 for Power of Connection: Celebrating 25 Years Together! It was an unforgettable event that honored a quarter century of impact, community, and connection.
Power of Connection is an event that shines a light on Mercy Connections’ unwavering devotion to its mission, celebrating the boundless strength and collective power of a community united in purpose.
Each year, the Mercy Connections' Board of Directors selects a person who exemplifies community leadership and service.
This year's award recipient is Erik Hoekstra of Redstone.
Erik J. Hoekstra joined Redstone in 2006 and has helped guide a period of meaningful growth and impact. As Managing Partner, he oversees daily operations and leads Redstone’s commercial real estate investment team, bringing thoughtful leadership and strategic vision to the company’s work.
Previously, Erik served as Development Manager at Housing Vermont (now Evernorth), contributing to efforts to create permanently affordable rental housing through strong public-private partnerships.
Deeply committed to community service and affordable housing, Erik has served on several nonprofit and civic boards, including Mercy Connections, Cathedral Square, and the Vermont Business Roundtable. He lives in Stowe with his family.
